Once you have sifted the matcha powder into the bowl, you can pour in about 40ml of hot water that is heated to about 70 degrees Celsius

Now it’s time to use your bamboo matcha whisk. You can hold the whisk with one hand at the base and use your other hand to press down on the whisk and start whisking in a back-and-forth motion. Be sure to whisk the tea until it becomes frothy.

Once the matcha is frothy, you can lift the whisk out of the bowl and enjoy your delicious cup of matcha tea.

Be sure to clean your matcha whisk after each use by rinsing it with hot water and air-drying it.

Using a bamboo matcha whisk is a time-honored tradition in Japanese tea culture.

Experience the art and joy of making matcha tea like it has been made for thousands of years.

To keep your bamboo whisk in perfect condition, store it on a Chasen Tate (whisk holder) after each use — it helps maintain its beautiful shape and allows it to dry naturally, extending its life.

only whisk matcha with water — never with milk or sweeteners. This preserves the integrity of the whisk and ensures it stays clean and free from bacteria or mould.
